The APC described Mr Obi’s comment as “morally reprehensible” and unbecoming of someone who has consistently condemned corruption.
The All Progressives Congress on Tuesday said that Nigeria’s opposition parties had failed woefully on all counts, describing them as directionless.
The All Progressives Congress has described party leaders remaining in the Peoples Democratic Party as undertakers waiting for the final burial of the opposition.
He said the ongoing demolition of illegal structures across the state followed a transparent process anchored on law.
“True to his lifelong commitment to visionary governance and innovation, President Tinubu is building on the same foundation he laid as governor of Lagos state,” the party said.
Mr Oladejo lauded Mr Tinubu, saying the president had demonstrated leadership unlike that of the PDP-led government era.
According to him, Mr Tinubu will crush all gang-ups against his re-election in 2027.
APC on Wednesday said Nigerians could not have asked for a better leader than President Bola Tinubu at this time in the nation’s history.
Mr Oladejo said that since Mr Tinubu’s very first day in office, he has demonstrated the will to confront long-standing obstacles crippling Nigeria’s development.
