The police said evidence linking the suspect to the crime had been recovered.

The CP warned against all forms of unlawful violence and reiterated the command’s zero tolerance for extrajudicial acts.
The police said the suspects would be charged to court.
Mr Ndukwe said the suspect was detained on January 21 by operatives of the command serving in Igbo-Eze North Police Division.
The protesters converged on the Ikeja Under Bridge and unlawfully blocked Awolowo Road leading to Alausa and the Lagos parliament for over six hours, the police said.
