Mr Folarin stated that he was deeply saddened to receive the news of the passing of Mrs Bisola Kola-Daisi (Nee Ajimobi).
“There is a need for urgent support and assistance for the affected families during this difficult time.’’
“It is God that Gives Power and Takes Power! May Oyo State and our people continue to prosper,” the APC candidate tweeted.
The Peoples Democratic Party incumbent garnered 563,756 votes to beat Teslim Folarin, his All Progressives Congress challenger, who polled 256,685.
Mr Makinde said he was impressed with the voters’ turnout while denying the unfounded claims about the volatile security situation in the state.
The All Progressives Congress in Oyo says there is no group within its fold that endorsed Governor Seyi Makinde’s reelection bid.
Mr Tinubu was in Ibadan on Thursday for the APC rally and endorsement of Teslim Folarin as the party’s governorship candidate.
