The police command says it has recovered a stolen Toyota Corolla car belonging to an Uber driver during an anti-robbery operation conducted by its operatives.
The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a post on X, said the errant officer will face disciplinary action.
The police command in Lagos has detained a suspect accused of stabbing an Uber driver and dispossessing him of his car.
“Tailor then took over control of the car and drove away,” she said.
The 48-year-old woman has remained in police custody after being charged with murder for the death of Mr Garcia.
