Mr Dingyadi said the police authority has continued to place attention on professionalism among officers while discharging their lawful duties.
The police commissioner in Zamfara has reiterated his commitment to partnering stakeholders to eliminate bandits and other criminals in the state.
“It’s been 68 days since the incident happened. We have made several efforts to secure his release, but unfortunately, there hasn’t been any breakthrough.”
The officers were seized while on a reconnaissance mission in Kogi, where violent insurgents have claimed responsibility for killings and abductions in recent weeks.

“We will tell the world the outcome of the investigation once we are through with it. There is nothing to hide,” said police commissioner Umar Sanda.
“We are brainstorming together to fashion out ways to deal with existing and emerging security threats headlong within the South-East,” said the inspector general of police.
The police command appealed to the public to report any person or group demanding money to secure the deployment of security operatives to their areas.
The IGP cautioned film or skit makers who portray police officers in a bad light, without applying and getting permit letters for such portrayals.
Mr Baba pledged that the force would continue to improve on its security mandate ahead of the 2023 general elections.
