Terrorists kill 23 people in latest attack on Plateau community

Terrorists on Monday invaded Bin-Per community in Kombun district of Mangu council area of Plateau, killing 23 people, including women and children.
Kefas Mallai, a youth leader and community advocate in the state, said the killing occurred in Kombun district.
“This happened in Kombun district of Mangu, but I don’t have details for now,” he said.
Rwang Tengwong, the spokesman for Berom Youth Moulders-Association, confirmed the killing to Peoples Gazette on Tuesday.
“We are still at the burial of the victims. I will provide further details of the incident,” Mr Tengwong said.
The police spokesman in the state, Alfred Alabo, could not be immediately reached for comment.
About five days ago, gunmen killed two persons and set several houses alight during an invasion of four communities in the Berom area.
On August 5, three brothers of the same family were killed in Tarai community, Jol district of Riyom council area.
