The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) said it arrested no fewer than 20 suspects for alleged internet fraud in Ibadan.
EFCC spokesman Wilson Uwujaren disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
The statement said the suspects were arrested on Friday at the Ologolo and Idi-Ishin areas of Ibadan, following intelligence on their fraudulent activities.
The EFCC listed three Toyota Camry cars, an unregistered grey-coloured Toyota RAV4, laptop computers, and several mobile phones among items seized from the suspects.
The anti-corruption agency stated that the suspects would be arraigned as soon as the investigation was concluded.
