West Ham dent Chelsea EPL title race

West Ham came from behind to beat Chelsea 3-2 in Saturday’s English Premier League game at the London Stadium.
Thiago Silva opened scoring for the Blues, burying Mason Mount’s corner in Lulasz Fabianski’s net with a super head in the 28th minute.
The home side, however, bounced back into the game as Manuel Lanzini scored from the penalty spot in the 40th minute after Edouard Mendy brought down Jarrod Bowen.
Mount restored Chelsea’s lead in 44th minute, leaving the Blues maintain a one goal lead into the first half break.
Bowen levelled up for West Ham in the 56th minute, making the Hammers the first EPL side to score two goals against Chelsea this season.
Arthur Masuaku’s late winner in the 87th minute grabbed West Ham a crucial three points to consolidate West Ham’s fourth position on the EPL log.
With Saturday’s defeat to West Ham, Chelsea will drop to third on the EPL log if Liverpool and Manchester City win their games this weekend.
