At least 10 persons were killed and several others injured in Ukraine as Russia’s missile hit Kharkiv region, including post office and residential buildings.

This was disclosed by Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky on X on Tuesday.

“This morning, the Russians launched a brutal attack on a busy intersection in Pechenihy, Kharkiv region – a location with a post office and stores, surrounded only by residential buildings.

“As of now, 10 people have been reported killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Many people have been injured and are receiving all necessary medical care,” he wrote.

Mr Zelensky stated that first responders already extinguished the fire, and emergency and response services continued working at the site.

According to him, the circumstances of this tragedy are being established.

He noted, “We will definitely respond to this Russian strike. And it is equally important that our partners also complement our just kinetic responses with their own actions to put pressure on Russia and support Ukraine. “

The Peoples Gazette earlier reported that 17 persons and 44 others were injured in Kyiv after Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on the country’s capital.

On July 24, about 11 people were killed across Ukraine after Russia attacked Kyiv.
