“El-Rufai did a lot of terrible things in Kaduna. Divided the state into two rhat if yiu afe in the South you cannot go to the north to live, if you are in thr North you cannot stay ij the South,,”Mr Musa said.
When asked if the people of Southern Kaduna are still unhappy with Mr El-Rufai, Mr Musa said that “If there is anything worse than unhappy. We can never be happy with somebody who has deliberately planned for the killing of our people.”
Asked if he was serious about the heavy allegations he levelled against Mr El-Rufai, Mr Musa replied, “definitely,” adding that the former governor openly admitted paying bandits.
Mr El-Rufai’s family and media team are yet to respond to Mr Musa’s allegations as of the time of filing this report.
Mr Musa’s allegations come as Mr El-Rufai continues to languish in detention since February over cases bordering on financial fraud, corruption and illegally tapping the telephone conversations of the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
