IPOB: Kanu’s trial adjourned until February 16
The trial of Nnamdi Kanu of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been adjourned until February 16.
Mr Kanu on Wednesday pleaded not guilty to the fresh terrorism charges preferred against him by President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime.
On Tuesday, Mr Kanu’s lead counsel Mike Ozekhome had requested adjournment after the prosecution counsel Shuaibu Labaran served his client a 15-count charge a day before his trial.
Appearing in court on Wednesday, the IPOB leader pleaded not guilty to the 15-count charge.
