Mr Uba’s campaign organisation wondered how APGA could have won the election after many of its stalwarts had defected to the APC.
Mr Soludo polled a total of 112,229 votes to defeat his closest rival, Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 53, 807 to emerge second.
“I was made to sign the election papers under duress,” Mr Otu narrated during collation of results at Akwa on Sunday.
The candidates of APC and PDP are the runners-up so far.
Eighteen political parties are participating in the governorship election this year as Governor Willie Obiano wraps up his two terms of four year each in March 2022.
Besides his arms procurement fraud, Andy Uba appeared to have committed two additional crimes for which it remained unclear whether or not he would be charged.
Mr Soludo said the PDP and Mr Uba institutionalised the kidnapping of politicians in the state.
