A 29-year-old man, Samuel Jacob, was on Tuesday docked in a magistrates’ court for biting off the index finger of a police officer Musa Hassan.
Reports say the woman slapped the officer at the police station where her son was detained.
The surety helped his brother escape from custody in a case of conspiracy, burglary and stealing.
The accused promised the businesswoman that the ‘spiritual oil’ was capable of washing and cleaning dollar notes.
The driver pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The magistrate denied the accused bail even after he pleaded not guilty to the charge.
