Mr Biu said the FRSC had maintained a culture of organising special patrol operations, code-named ‘Operation Zero Tolerance To Road Traffic Crashes’, over the years.
The FRSC boss said that the operation would begin on December 15 and end on January 15, 2023.
The SGF said that in spite of the tremendous achievements recorded over the years, the war against road crashes was still far from over.
Another 522 people were seriously injured in 520 road traffic crashes in Lagos during the period under review.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says 3,700 persons lost their lives in vehicle accidents between January and October this year.
Special marshals have voluntary obligations to the corps, and are expected to reach certain targets under its corporate strategic goals.
