Thursday’s event seeks to immortalise the memories of unarmed citizens killed by state forces on the night of October 20, 2020 at the Lekki Tollgate.
Macaroni during an interview in Lagos, said such allegations should not be swept under the carpet.
The thespian said “genuine peacemaking will begin by first implementing the recommendations of the panel.”
The late Baba Suwe was a comedic actor who made even the tensest scenes humorous.
Mr Macaroni called on the public to donate to the family whose breadwinner was killed by the police during the Yoruba Nation rally in Lagos.
The entertainer was amongst 40 protesters taken into custody on Saturday.
