The SSG said Mr Bago also approved the appointment of members of the Niger State Secondary Education Board (SSEB).
Mr Abubakar described the election as peaceful, fair, and credible, assuring the governor of the Emirate’s continued support for his administration’s developmental strides.
The governor stated that the dissolution was part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to reposition and strengthen the education sector.
Mr Bago added that the SON office would also support the state’s efforts in agro-processing, renewable energy, and small-scale manufacturing.
Mr Sadiq-Yelwa disclosed that the Bago-led administration had provided more than 1,000 tractors to farmers in the state to enhance productivity.
The governor had on June 25 ordered the closure of the university following the tragic death of a student due to robbery in the university community.
Mr Bago, represented by Deputy Governor Yakubu Garba, also disclosed that 207 people had been confirmed dead and over 3,000 households displaced.
A statement by his chief press secretary, Ibrahim Bologi, disclosed that the new curfew hours would be from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
He said the Niger government would continue to develop policies that positively impact the lives of the people, especially women and youths.
Bulus Yohanna, CAN’s chairman in Niger, expressed solidarity with the governor and the state government.
