Mr Haruna pleaded guilty of the one-count charge of theft but begged for leniency.
Mr Leo said that the defendant converted the money to personal use.
The police prosecutor, Mr Chidi Leo, said that the defendant, who was the complainant’s girlfriend, allegedly stole N200,000 belonging to him.
