The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication, “Shipping Position,” on Wednesday in Lagos.
NPA noted that eight ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports.
He described the 2025 performance as a transformative phase for the maritime industry.
The vessels are expected between March 4 and March 11.
38 ships laden with various commodities are expected to arrive in Apapa, Lekki and Tin-Can Island Ports from February 20 to February 28.
NPA explained that 17 of the expected ships carried containers with different goods.
He said terminals were conceptualised to simplify what used to be a burdensome export process.
NPA said the ships were discharging petrol, diesel, crude oil, buckwheat, general cargo, containers, bulk gas, fresh fish, bulk gypsum, base oil, and bulk urea.
He said 13 ships had arrived at the ports and waiting to berth.
The document stated that 15 other ships were already at the ports.
