He accused the state government of using tax measures to silence opposition voices.

The president also charged INEC to continue conducting peaceful, free, fair and credible elections.
Mr Asogwa polled 162,360 votes to defeat his closest rival, Nestor Ezeme of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mr Oyebanji secured 164 votes, Mr Oluyede of the PDP got eight votes, while Mr Ojo, the ADP’s candidate, had one vote.
INEC has uploaded results for 2,086 out of 2,445 polling units.
Mr Oyebanji polled 140 votes, while the ADC candidate secured 37 votes out of 182 total valid votes cast at the polling unit.
