The prosecutor said that the defendant was eventually arrested following investigation by the police.
Mr Akinola alleged that the defendants were fighting, shouting at each other and causing nuisance in the public area.
The police prosecutor alleged that the defendant was indicted, during an audit report.
The Chief Magistrate, Nurudeen Layeni, granted the defendant bail in the sum of five million naira, with three sureties in like sum.
The magistrate adjourned the case until May 25, for hearing.
The charge noted that the offence was punishable under Section 230 of the Criminal Code Laws of Ogun State, 2006.
The plea of the defendant was not taken.
The court adjourned the case until April 15, for hearing.
The defendant is on trial for stealing and causing a breach of the peace. He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
“When we get to the bridge, we’ll cross it. All we want is justice,” said the NYSC official’s lawyer.
