The spokesperson added that the suspects, who confessed to the crime, said that they were fleeing to Kogi State before the arrest.
The police spokesperson said the suspects would be charged in court after investigation.
The police spokesperson named the suspects as Umar Abubakar, 24; Ibrahim Lawali, 18; Sirajo Musa, 25; and Adamu Lawal, 25.
The police spokesperson said that efforts were ongoing to identify and arrest the fabricator.
Mr Abiodun said the suspects were assisting the command in the ongoing investigation.
The police spokesperson said the suspects had been transferred to SCID Minna for further investigation and prosecution.
The suspects, aged 40 and 35, are residents of Beji.

The supposed victim reportedly decided to return from Kaduna after the ransom was not forthcoming.
