He said the medical outreach was provided free of charge to residents.
The command urged residents to remain calm as the situation was under control.
The command’s spokesperson appealed to residents to provide useful and timely information that would aid policing in the state.
“During interrogation, the suspect confessed to membership of a cult group and made further useful disclosures,” said the police.
The police arrested the suspects on Sunday following information provided by a concerned member of the Ilu-Abo community.
The police command in Ondo says it has arrested a wanted kidnapper terrorising the Akoko axis, Abdullahi Lawal, in Ikare-Akoko, Akoko North East LGA.
The police said the protest might be hijacked by unscrupulous people who might use it to disrupt public order.
Mr Lawan said the screening would hold from March 9 to April 18.
Mr Lawal explained that all the victims were pregnant women and one physically challenged person.
The suspects confessed to the crime, leading to the recovery of a Golf Wagon, a Golf Opel, and a Hijet (Kurkura) motor vehicle.
