The command generated N93.9 billion within the period, compared with N85.3 billion collected in 2024.
Mr Kofarmata said the reduction was achieved through improved storage facilities, farmers’ training, and the introduction of climate-smart technologies.
The recruitment was announced in a statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature, on Wednesday.
“Your selection is a privilege and a responsibility to excel,” the Kano governor said.
The governor announced the donation of 10 Hilux trucks and 60 motorcycles to the Joint Task Force operating in the affected areas.
The Kano government noted that the move “is expected to boost economic activities, create jobs, and attract investments”.
The committee is tasked with reviewing the existing examination processes, evaluating materials and personnel, and identifying areas for improvement.
Mr Yusuf said the programme reflected the administration’s focus on education, youth empowerment, and social welfare.
Mr Yusuf stressed that Kano State would continue to partner with all security agencies to ensure the state’s overall stability and progress.
