The FRSC confirmed the lone accident involving a Toyota bus carrying eight persons.
Ms Okpe said the accident occurred at 2:38 p.m., attributing it to speeding and loss of control.
She stated that the accident was caused by speeding which led to loss of control on the part of the driver of the bus.
“From the survey conducted on the bridge, it shows no visible signs of damage to the deck, and the reinforced concrete bridge is intact.”
The Sector Commander, Anthony Uga, was saddened by the incident.
