Mr Akinbiyi explained that during the period, 165 others sustained various degrees of injuries.
Mr Akinbiyi advised motorists to always rest well before heading for work.
The corpses of victims have been deposited at the Ifo General Hospital, Ogun, while the survivors are also receiving treatment.
The commander appreciated Governor Dapo Abiodun for approving the employment of 1,000 officers.
Temitope Oseni, the Ijako unit commander of TRACE, gave the warning on Tuesday in Ota, Ogun.
A spokesperson for TRACE, Babatunde Akinbiyi, disclosed this in a statement in Abeokuta on Friday.
Mr Ajibade explained that six persons —- four males, one female and a toddler —- were involved in the accident.
The operation will run from June 14 to June 21.
