Shortly after his ‘Tinder Swindler’ notoriety, Simon Leviev has put his scandalous talent to good use by joining Hollywood.

According to TMZ, a source close to the embattled Simon disclosed that he has signed up with a talent manager Gina Rodriguez and was already working on writing a book and hosting a dating podcast to profit from his infamy.

On February 2, Netflix released a true-life story documentary exposing a Tinder con artist who had successfully swindled his female victims of millions of dollars under the pretence of love.

Shortly after the documentary was released, Simon took to his Instagram, saying he “will share his side of the story in the next few days when he has sorted out the best and most respectful way to, both to the involved parties and himself.”

He then deleted his social media accounts.

In December 2019, Simon was convicted of fraud, theft, and forgery and sentenced to 15 months in prison but only served five months jail time because he was released for “good behaviour.”

After establishing a trustworthy long-distance relationship with his victims, Simon was accused of staging a physical attack, claiming his life was in danger, demanding “heavy” financial support he was supposed to reimburse afterwards.

According to his victims, they are still paying for loans they obtained years ago to assist Simon.
