Infrastructure took the lead in the budget with N85.7 billion allocation, while the education sector followed with N58.2 billion.
The motion was presented by Jibrin Baba, an APC member representing Lavun Constituency at the plenary.
The House granted the governor’s request in a unanimous resolution.
The governor also sent another letter requesting the confirmation of 15 Special Adviser nominees, which was approved.

The budget, a 3.64 per cent increase over that of 2021, has a recurrent expenditure of N78.7 billion and a capital expenditure of N68.7 billion.
Lawmakers said the bill, when passed into law, would help protect Lagosians privacy rights.
The budget is N5.9 billion with recurrent expenditure getting N3.6 billion and N2.3 billion for capital expenditure.
The Assembly urged the government to scale up monitoring of entrants into the country as well as heighten awareness and adherence to COVID-19 protocols among citizens.
