The police in Lagos on Thursday arraigned four defendants before the Ikorodu Chief Magistrates’ Court for stealing raw materials worth N5 million from a company.
The magistrate adjourned the case until December 18 for mention.
The prosecutor said the offences contravened Sections 411 and 287(7) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The woman pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The magistrate didn’t take the defendant’s plea.
The prosecutor said the defendant’s action was likely to cause a breach of the peace.
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against them.
Mr Isaac said the defendants forged receipts for 100 transactions of Joy sanitary pads, which amounted to N2.85 million.
The police prosecutor said that the offences contravened Section 56, 56, 172 and 173 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
